Today (1 April 2025), officials sent the body of Mr. Boonrod Otathawong, or Lod, age 33, a Thai worker who died in the State Audit Office building collapse, back to his hometown in Wang Ta Mua Subdistrict, Mueang District, Nakhon Phanom Province for religious ceremonies. His parents and community members were waiting to receive the body with grief after following the officials' search mission until they found Mr. Boonrod's body, which was sent for identification before returning the body to his family.
